Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 18, 2026 · Version 2026-10-18.2 · Español (texto que rige)
These terms govern the use of galarza.mx, mexicotrust.net and rosaritolegal.com, the client portal and our online services (appointments, forms, payments and electronic signature). The legal services you engage are also governed by your professional services agreement, which prevails over these terms on anything it covers.
1. Who provides the services
Services are provided by Lic. Pati Claudia Galarza, attorney (Licenciada en Derecho), Cédula Profesional 15176510, Registro Profesional Estatal 19110 (Baja California), under the trade name "Galarza Legal", with domicile at Blvd. Popotla 3009, Playa Encantada, Playas de Rosarito, Baja California, C.P. 22713, México; email info@galarza.mx; phone +1 619 568 2424. The domains galarza.mx, mexicotrust.net and rosaritolegal.com are the firm's internet addresses; they are not separate persons or companies.
All legal services are rendered from Mexico, under Mexican law. The firm does not practise law in the United States or any other country.
2. Information on the sites is not legal advice
The articles, guides, calculators and estimates on the sites are general information. They do not replace advice on your specific case and do not create an attorney–client relationship. That relationship exists only when the firm accepts your matter and both sides sign the professional services agreement, or a consultation is confirmed in writing.
Every figure for fees, taxes, government charges or costs on the sites is an estimate. The final amounts are set by each office, bank, notary or provider when paid, and the firm confirms them only in a written quote or agreement.
3. Engaging our services
Each matter is formalised with a professional services agreement (articles 2479 ff. of the Civil Code of the State of Baja California) setting out its purpose, scope, fees, payment terms and term. The firm's obligation is one of means: to provide the service with due diligence, knowledge and professional ethics. It cannot guarantee an outcome, because final decisions rest with banks, authorities, notaries, courts and the other parties.
You agree to give true, complete and timely information, to deliver the documents requested and to tell us of any relevant change. False or incomplete information may affect the outcome and the firm's liability.
When the service is a regulated activity under article 17 fr. XI of Mexico's anti-money-laundering law (for example, real-estate purchases and sales, fideicomisos or company formation), the firm must identify you, ask about your occupation and the beneficial owner, and keep that information (article 18 of that law). Without it we cannot provide the service.
4. Fees, payments and receipts
Fees are those agreed in your agreement or in the quote you accept in writing, in the currency shown, plus applicable taxes. Fees are owed for the work performed, whatever the outcome of the matter, unless your agreement says otherwise (article 2486 of the Civil Code of the State of Baja California).
Fee payments are made to the firm by the means indicated to you (bank transfer, or card through Stripe). The firm issues the tax receipt (CFDI) that corresponds to each payment.
Third-party payments. Government charges, taxes and the fees of banks, notaries, the Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores, registries, appraisers and other providers are paid by you directly to each of them. The firm tells you what is owed and how to pay it, but does not receive, hold or transfer third-party money.
Before you pay online you are shown the concept, amount, currency and applicable charges. We make no automatic recurring charges.
5. Ending the service and refunds
You may end the engagement at any time by written notice. You then pay the fees for the services actually performed up to the date of the notice; if you had paid more in advance, the firm refunds the difference within 30 calendar days, by the same payment method where possible, unless your agreement sets another way of calculating it.
The firm may also end the engagement for the causes stated in the agreement, giving you timely notice so that you are not left without defence or advice (article 2487 of the Civil Code of the State of Baja California).
Payments you made directly to third parties are governed by their own policies; the firm cannot refund them. When the engagement ends, we return the original documents you entrusted to us and, on request, a copy of your file, subject to what we must keep under the Document Retention Policy.
If you have a question or disagreement about a charge, write to us first at info@galarza.mx; we will answer and look for a solution in good faith. You keep the rights your bank or card network's rules give you.
6. Liability
The firm is liable to you for damage caused by negligence, lack of skill or wilful misconduct (dolo) in providing its services (article 2488 of the Civil Code of the State of Baja California). Nothing in these terms excludes liability for wilful misconduct (article 1981 of the same Code).
The firm is not liable for the decisions, delays, requirements, costs or errors of banks, authorities, notaries, registries, courts, counterparties or other providers outside its control, nor for damage caused by false, incomplete or late information given to it.
7. Professional secrecy and confidentiality
The firm keeps professional secrecy over the information of your matter, except reports that must be made to competent authorities under the law (article 36 of the Ley Reglamentaria del Artículo 5o. Constitucional; article 23 fr. III of the Ley de Ejercicio de las Profesiones para el Estado de Baja California). The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Notice.
8. Communications, electronic contracting and signature
You agree that the firm may communicate with you and send you documents by email, messages, the client portal and the signing platform. Consent expressed by electronic means is valid, and the written form is met by electronic documents that are complete, attributable to the parties and accessible for later consultation (articles 1690 and 1721 of the Civil Code of the State of Baja California). Agreements signed on our platform keep a certificate with each signer's date, time, IP address and email.
You access the portal through personal links sent to your email or phone. Keep them under your control and tell us if you think someone else had access.
9. Use of the sites
You agree to use the sites lawfully, not to send false information, malicious software or bulk messages, and not to try to access other people's information or restricted parts of the system. We may refuse automated or abusive messages.
The texts, guides, calculators, designs and marks on the sites belong to the firm or are used with permission. You may read them and share links for personal use; reproducing them elsewhere needs written permission.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms by publishing the new version on this page with its date. Changes apply to the use of the sites from publication and do not modify agreements already signed, which change only by written agreement of both parties.
11. Language
These terms are written in Spanish. The English version is a courtesy translation; if they differ, the Spanish text prevails.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and the firm's services are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States and of the State of Baja California. For any dispute, the parties will first seek a settlement in good faith; failing that, they submit to the competent courts of the State of Baja California.
